Ccrock is right; the log book is the complete solution to storing and analyzing all your data from all types of surveys and reports. And there is a free harvest data log sheet you can access on it. On the folder tabs at the top of this page, click on Log Book, then Sample Ranch. It should start a mini-movie with an introduction to what the log book is and how it works and why you should use it. Once over, click on the Deer tab, then Deer Reports
right above that tab. From there, click on Blank Harvest Log and it will bring up a form you can print out.
You are right on the money with wanting to get a harvest log established. Harvest data is one of the most critical pieces of information you can ever collect, whether from a biology and management standpoint, or from a hunter success and lease records standpoint.
Give me a shout if you can't open it and I'll email it to you. I know that Walt emailed these forms out last year, and I'll bet he will do another mass emailing before this next deer season to make sure everyone has it.
